The Biyar Aqueduct

The Biyar Aqueduct Tour

is an enjoyable experience through a 12 meter deep and 140 meter long ancient underground water tunnel. The aqueduct was originally part of Herod's underground water system to transport water to Jerusalem and the Holy Temple. The guided tour includes a short presentation that talks about how water was brought to Jerusalem 2000 years ago and walking through waist high flowing water.

We suggest packing a flashlight, change of clothes, and water shoes.

The Tour Includes:

A once in a lifetime visit to a historical, underground cave, a complex water system, wading pool, and kid friendly bouncy castle.

In addition, you can enjoy a family friendly arts and crafts corner, field cooking, and (for an extra fee and prior booking) bicycle rental.

In addition:

The length of the visit to this site is 2-4 hours.

The tour is suitable for summer camps and children over the age of 5.
